Back to the story, and away from the bucket.

I thought the art was not as sharp as previous issues, and I was disappointed in that. The story was alright, and I do like how phoenix keeps say how he fought the Phantom before and how he could understand after 250 years forgetting some things.

It wasn't the best story I have read for a while, but it wasn't that bad either. I voted good, but feel that it was rushed a bit as well. Sometimes it is not a bad thing to stretch some stories out over two issues, imo.

One thing though, I hope they do explain how phoenix was able to survive the fire as well.

Yeah the artwork was an interesting point which didnt look as good as previous Giordana and Saviuks work.

Just read this one and I thought it was another average story - it just seemed to go along at the same level and was quite predictable.

To be perfectly honest, I fell asleep about page 6 or 7, I am interested in history but this story turned into one of those history lessons that the presenter delivers in a monotone voice, there were a few points that I liked, but they escape me right now. Confused

Need I say anything??? I will though. Are you having sex while reading the Phantom???? I guess it just goes to show that males can do more one thing at a time...

Back on topic though. It was a different type of story wasnt it? I cant really put my finger on it but it was different in a sense.

After spending all week putting up a 2 metre high timber fence by myself leaves me too worn out to think of sex Laughing , but I do agree, it was a different type of story, it might be better if read when I'm not so bone weary. Smile

This story was ok but I think I will enjoy it more when the last chapter is published and all the parts can be read together.

The art was a disapointment and I think both Giordano and Saviuk has done better before. Especially the inking didn´t look sharp enough to satisfy me.

Looking forward to the last part!

What does the artwork look like in colour?? In black and white it looked 'cartoony-ish' and i was a bit undecided about the look.
