 Story: Claes Reimerthi
Art: Alex Saviuk
Inks: Dick Giordano
First Published: Finland 19/2006, Norway 20/2006 and Sweeden 19/2006

Part three of this series of Phoenix and this round of procedings he is called Germaine which is actually were my name (Jermayn) comes from.

The artwork is interesting and its definatly a lot more 'cartoony' (is this the right word) than other Phantom stories lately.

I voted Good.

An interesting part is the time when the Phantom meets Catherine the Great in this issue. In a Moonstone issue "Curse of The Phantom Pt.1 of 2" that Phantom meets Catherine.

I think if you are going to "review" the new issues from Egmont it is better to give correct information!

First, there is no issue 21/2006 by "Egmont"!

The story you talk about are made by Egmont and published in:

Oct 2nd 2006:Finland 19/2006 and Norway 20/2006
Oct 5th 2006: Sweeden 19/2006

And it is no excuse that other have the wrong info on their site!!

OK Ivan I understand you wanting to have the information right (even though I dont think its a big issue personally), I will fix it...

btw just for the record I got the "information" from the Frew comic and it was the only place I could see it and I thought something would be better than nothing but obviously its not....

btw anyone can start the "review" thread, it doesnt just have to be me or dan.

Well, it is 14 days before the comic are published here! I think there was some talk about marking it with "spoiler" in such cases? Or was that youst because you did not like what was "reviewed"?? Wink

Naturally, I can't know as I don't have the book! But with such "noise" some here made last time one did not mark "spoiler", I would be very careful!

I think Ivan has a point. Germ you do get it a few weeks before the rest of us as you subscribe and some of us get it from the news agents. So to come on here and read about it before I have had a chance to even read it can be a bit off putting. Sometimes I read that people think it will be crap, and I don't look forward as much, and other times the opposite and I believe the hype, and get dissappointed.

Perhaps we could hold off reviews until the actual realse date that is advertised, so the rest of us can get it and read it, and then reviews can flow.

Just a thought, not a nit pick or go at anyone.

Btw, I do enjoy your thought's on the stories, as that is what debate and discussion is ment to be about.

I have to agree with Ivan and PH on this point Germ, in my opinion a week before the story is out on the stand is early enough to post any info' and opinions. Wink

It may be your nature but I can see an argument about just not clicking on the thread
