Smile Black Widow, The Phantom, Doc Savage... Great drawing here by Gene Espy...

Razz Look... an Oscar statuette and, for those who remembers, the bottle from the TV series "I dream of Jeannie"!

Very Happy Thanks once again, Phantom&devil for your comments
and thanks to your knowledge, now I know who are the
characters whom I did not enumerate!

Smile Here's an ad, dated from June 15 1940,
from "The Evansville Courier" newspaper...

Wow.. a real sexii and stunning art after a long long time. Damn good work!! Somehow, of late, the Phantom had become a sedate, boring, wooden guy, with drooping lips, fighting bulbous nosed idiotic villains, helped by a school-boy-look Guran and a grimy Mozz in a goddamn designer hood. Where was the sexy Phantom of yore, cavorting in beaches, flirting with Sala, lip-kissing and hugging Diana and romancing gorgeous princesses? And the exotic villains in exotic locations.. The Phantom does need a make-over, for sure, and he needs to be freed from the clutches of current vapid artists..

Smile Yes, it's mine but sorry Peter, it's not for sale!

Very Happy I already posted this one a long time ago but, as you have a certain
interest in that kind of stuff, here's another one, just for you Peter!

Once again, this one comes from my personal collection and it's not
for sale... Taken from a newspaper, dated October 20, 1938.

Yep my friend, I understand your point of view and I agree with you.

Sad Personally, I don't really like the current stories and I'm TIRED to see this
grimacing Phantom that we can see in Moonstone books and I'm also tired of all
these stories of terrorism! It doesn't interest me... I miss the Phantom that I
knew when I was a kid. Aaaah, it was the good ol' days!!!
